About

About this temporary email inbox

TheMailinator gives you a temporary email address on @themailinator.com. Choose a name, copy the address, and read the mail in the browser. There is no signup.

Who it is for

Use it when a site asks for an email and you want that message here instead of in your everyday inbox. A sign-up, a verification code, or a newsletter can all land on the name you pick.

How an inbox is opened

Pick a name, such as signup. The full address is signup@themailinator.com. Copy that address into the form that asks for an email. Then open the same name here and refresh. The page lists the newest messages first.

What you can do here

• Receive mail at an address you choose.
• Read the subject, the sender, and the message.
• Open another name when you want a separate inbox.

What this site will not do

• It will not send or reply to mail.
• It will not download attached files.
• It will not promise that every message arrives, or that it stays forever.
